Daily Update (8)

What a time for the lights to come back! It's New Year! It's 2012!! Wishing you a happy and prosperous year ahead...
I can't say the same to me, since I don't see any good happening for myself or my marriage.. I am alone at home, awake at midnight and updating this blog.. There's nothing else to do.. I don't have any friends to hangout with on New Year's Day and celebrate.. And there's nothing really to celebrate about.. The only good thing I was able to do was talk to my wife on the phone and wish her.. But even our conversation had to be short, since she was working.. A New Year's Day without your loved one can't really be a happy one..

Now, about my blog and the campaign.. Traffic to my posts seems to be picking up everyday.. I get at least 40 to 50 hits on an average, daily.. But my PayPal account doesn't seem to move at all..  So, that's the update!

Ok.. So it's a new year.. 2012.. Most people probably have the Mayan calender and their predictions in mind! Don't you? I had thought about that too! But do you believe that the world is gonna end on December this year? I don't! I just think that the Mayans probably ran out of time before they could make a calender for the rest of time.. I mean the dates after 12 December 2012.. Even if the world was to end on the date they predicted, there isn't anything you and I could do.. So why even bother right?

So, what is your new year's resolution? Some people might want to buy a new car, a new house, find a new job, get married, or for couple's to have a new baby! These are all possible... But well, what is my new year's resolution?? My resolution is to get a million dollars in the next 16 days and be back with my wife and kid!
Am I crazy? Yes, definitely!! But what the heck! I can try... Some millionaire in New York gave away a million to a guy who didn't need it! May be there is someone who will find it useful to give me a million too! And I am not gonna run away with the money... Just need it to start my own restaurant in Singapore.. But I wouldn't mind getting it as a donation! :) So.. Is anyone there in this world who would love the publicity??
